Banking at Betarctica for UK players
Paying in and out at Betarctica from the UK: methods, currency, limits and checks
Twelve payment brands, a euro account rather than sterling, a 3x turnover rule on deposits and withdrawal limits that rise with your VIP level. This page sets out each step of the cashier, with pound amounts converted from the euro figures in the casino terms.
Payment brands
Twelve ways to pay: cards, wallets and six cryptocurrencies

The payment screen in our screenshot is the lower part of the Betarctica menu. Under the Categories and Information headings it lists the brands the cashier works with, in three rows. The top half holds the two card schemes plus four wallets (Skrill, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut). Six coin icons fill the lower half, with Litecoin first and Tether last. A row of sports logos closes the block.
| Type | Brands | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Cards | Visa, Mastercard | Personal cards only, 3-D Secure check at the bank |
| E-wallets | Skrill, Apple Pay, Google Pay | Linked to a card or balance you already hold |
| App bank | Revolut | Can pay from a euro balance in the app |
| Crypto | Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Tron, Tether | Sent from a wallet in your own name |
Per-method minimums, maximums and fees appear inside the cashier after you sign in, so we do not quote them here. Card payments are normally instant, and the casino says provider fees may apply on its side of the transaction. Corporate cards are not accepted.
Pounds and euro
Why a UK balance is held in euro, and what that costs
Thirteen account currencies appear in the terms, from the euro and Swiss franc to the Polish zloty and the Bangladeshi taka, and the pound is absent from that list. Betarctica keeps its books in euro, so for a British player the obvious choice is a euro account. Each deposit from a UK card is then converted by the card issuer, usually with a foreign transaction fee of a few percent unless your card waives it. Revolut and other multi-currency accounts avoid most of that by paying from a euro balance.

Paying in
Deposits: limits you can set and the 3x turnover rule
The cashier opens from the Join Now button once you are signed in. It shows any bonus linked to the deposit, a promo code field and the limit tools. You can cap your deposits over 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days, and the cashier warns you when a payment would break a limit you set earlier. A card can be declined at this point when its number range is blocked by the payment system.
Turn each deposit over three times
Section 13 of the terms asks you to stake each deposit at least three times before you withdraw it. Paying in £100 means £300 in bets first. If you ask for a payout before that, the casino may deduct a processing fee at its own discretion. This rule is separate from bonus wagering and applies even when you play without a bonus.
- Sign in and tap Join Now to open the cashier.
- Choose a method and, if you have one, enter a promo code.
- Enter the amount in your account currency and confirm with your bank or wallet.
- Play the deposit through three times before you plan a withdrawal.
Paying out
Withdrawals: processing time, limits by level and large wins
Payouts go back to the method you first deposited with, a rule from the anti-money-laundering policy. Betarctica commits to processing a request within three business days, plus whatever time your bank or wallet needs. The VIP rules set a faster target for higher levels, from 24 hours down to one hour at the top. While a request is pending you can cancel it yourself, and the number of open requests at one time is capped.
| Levels | Limit in euro | About in pounds |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze 1 to 4 | €7,000 | £5,894 |
| Silver 1 and 2 | €8,000 | £6,736 |
| Silver 3 and 4 | €9,000 | £7,578 |
| Gold 1 to 4 | €10,000 to €16,000 | £8,420 to £13,473 |
| Platinum 1 to 4 | €20,000 to €26,000 | £16,841 to £21,893 |
| Obsidian | €30,000 | £25,262 |
VIP Program Rules, Appendix A. The period for each limit is set in the casino's separate withdrawal policy.
A win larger than your limit is not lost, but it is paid out in monthly instalments. Payments from someone else's card or wallet are forbidden, and winnings from them can be confiscated.
Verification
Identity checks: when they start and what to upload
Betarctica does not check documents at sign-up. Full checks start when your lifetime deposits pass €2,000 (about £1,684), when you make any withdrawal request, or when activity looks unusual. Above €5,000 in deposits (about £4,210) the casino can also ask where your money comes from, and the account stays frozen until you answer.
- Photo ID issued by a government, such as a passport or driving licence
- A selfie holding that ID
- Proof of address no older than 90 days, as a scan or photo rather than a screenshot
- Proof of payment, for a card a picture showing the first six and last four digits
- Anything further the team asks for in the ticket
Uploads can be PNG, JPG, JPEG, HEIC or PDF, up to ten files per request. If your documents are not in the Latin alphabet, a video call may be added, and the team may also phone you. You have 14 days to provide what is asked, after which winnings can be withheld, so it is worth having the documents ready before your first withdrawal.
Fees and refunds
Dormant account fee and deposit refunds
An account with no activity for 12 months is charged €10 a month, around £8.42. Logging in and playing once a year avoids it, or you can close the account through support and withdraw the balance. A deposit you regret can be refunded if you ask within five business days of making it, and refunds are processed within ten business days.
